The Liberty Hill Foundation’s Queer Youth Fund is now accepting Letters of Intent for the 2007-2008 cycle

Up to four $100,000 grants, payable over three to five years, will be made to different 501(c)3 organizations (or groups with fiscal sponsors) with specific work that matches the guidelines. Eligible organizations must have a total budget for their youth work of $750,000 or less. The grants review committee may, at its sole discretion, award smaller grants.
2008 State Equality Fund Letter of Intent Invitation

The Gill Foundation, Evelyn and Walter Haas Jr. Fund, and an anonymous donor, in conjunction with Tides Foundation, are pleased to announce the second year of the State Equality Fund. This is an open announcement and invitation.
The goal of the Fund is to further equal opportunity for people at a state and local level regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity and expression.
Ric Weiland leaves $65 Million to LGBT and HIV/AIDS Organizations

Ric Weiland, one of Microsoft's first employees, has left what is believed to be the largest bequest ever to the LGBT community. His gift, $65 million, will benefit 10 national LGBT and HIV/AIDS organizations, along with Seattle, WA's Pride Foundation.
