Annual Grantmakers Retreat

fostering an engaged community of grantmakers

Grantmakers at retreat As part of our mission to mobilize philanthropic resources that enhance the well being of our communities, one of Funders for LGBTQ Issues' goals is to facilitate conversations about and strengthen current LGBTQ grantmaking by convening and educating funders, providing reliable research on institutional funding patterns, and disseminating information on issues relevant to our communities. A major programmatic element toward that end is our Annual Grantmakers Retreat.

Convening a diversity of professionals from private, public and community foundations and funds, the Annual Grantmakers Retreat aims to provide a forum for grantmakers working on LGBTQ issues to engage in and explore current topics in the field, and to foster a growing community of such professionals working in philanthropy, by providing a space for networking, information sharing and conversation.
